Table of Contents
The Administrative Console window displays a list of containers by location on the left side of the application window. The details of the selected container are displayed in the tabs on the right.
Menus and command buttons are available for containers.
All tabs, except Appliance Logs and Services, are read-only when a container is docked.
Administrative Console supports standard Windows shortcuts. For example, press:
TAB to move to the next control, or
ESC to cancel an action.
The table below provides information about the tools found in the Application menu at the top of the Administrative Console window.

Exit | Exits Administrative Console. |

Refresh Cache | Refreshes the cache of the registry on the source machine for the selected container, and migrates data once again. |
Compare Firewall Rules | Runs a utility for https://virtamove.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VDOC/pages/310739279/Comparing+Firewall+Rules?search_id=4a2e0f92-61b1-4a4b-af04-69d21aca26b6 between the source and destination machine. This is useful if Audit displays a warning about firewall conflicts or differences. |
Compare Group Policies | Runs a utility for https://virtamove.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VDOC/pages/310707046/Comparing+Group+Policies+between+Source+and+Destination?search_id=175fde17-4b82-4ed5-9cdc-16ebb0909724 machine. |
Run VirtaDebug | Lets you run Virtadebug to gather information that will let VirtaMove identify and resolve possible migration problems. You must respond to the prompt to start the gathering process. |
Security Key | Lets you import, export, or create a security key for VirtaMove Source Agent. |
Lock/Unlock VAA | Lets you lock a container by specifying a password, or unlock a locked container. You cannot modify settings for a locked container. |

![]() | Lets you dissolve the selected container application to the underlying operating system. This action cannot be reversed. |

Appliance Settings | Lets you view and manage appliance settings. |
Tether | Lets you enable or disable Tether and configure information required to connect to the source machine. |
Credentials | Displays a list of account credentials used by the container. You can change a password if required. |
Services | Lets you view and remove container services. |
Accounts | Lets you view user accounts and group accounts used to support Tether. |
Appliance Logs | Lets you view activities and error logs for a selected container and export log files. |
File Tree View | Lets you scan and select files on the source machine so that you can add them to the container during the migration process. |
Registry Tree View | Lets you scan and select registries on the source machine so that you can add them to the container during the migration process. |
