You can view migration details for a particular migration in process on an interactive page called the Migration Detailed window. This is a good way to view all the steps involved in moving applications from a source to a destination machine, including information gathering for the destination, mapping to the source, licensing, pre-population, and so on.

At the top of the page, you'll see a representation of the source and destination involved in the migration. In the middle are the steps involved in the migration. Once each step is executed, the step turns navy blue. Once the step is performed correctly, a green checkmark will be displayed on the step. If the step contains an error, a red # will be displayed. Clicking on each step displays detailed information on the output of the step or error if there is one.

At the bottom, you'll see information about the last step that was performed, as well as a button that indicates the next step in the migration. Click on the button to advance the migration to the next step.

To Access Migration Details

1. Click Manage>Destinations. The Destination Inventory window is displayed.

2. Select a destination in the list by clicking on the hostname or the IP column. The Destination Details window is displayed. V-Maestro displays when the destination was last seen at the top of the window.

3. Click the Migration In-Progress card. The Migration Detailed window is displayed.

4. To view details about a step, click a step. You can scroll up or down if required.

5. Click OK or Continue.

6. Click the command button at the bottom of the page to advance to the next migration stage as required.
