      Managing the V-Maestro Account

      You can edit the V-Maestro account user name and the account password.

      VirtaMove highly recommends that you change the default V-Maestro account password. However, do so only after you set the SMTP settings correctly (for email). If you forget the password, V-Maestro will not be able to send an email to recover the account! See https://virtamove.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VDOC/pages/314802845.

      To Manage the V-Maestro Account

      1. Click Manage.

      2. Click System>Manage Account. The Manage Account window is displayed.

      3. To change the user name for the V-Maestro account, click the Edit icon in the User Name field in the Maestro card.

      4. Enter a new user name, then click Submit.

      5. To change the password for the V-Maestro account, click the Edit icon in the Password field in the Maestro card.

      6. Do the following:

        1. Enter the old password for the account.

        2. Enter the new password.

        3. Enter the new password again to confirm it.

      7. Click Submit.
